My 2 favorite teams, The Islanders, and whoever is playing the Rags! |

The 4 regulation losses is misleading. The Sens are just a little bit above .500 in points. Very close to dropping out of the top 8. This team is at its best when they’re the underdog, telling the Sens that they’re contenders now just might hurt them.
This is my first comment, so I want to get say that Oduya is terrible. The guy can NOT play anymore. |

Agreed the OT losses don't look great, but a point is a point.
Hate to blame goalies for loses, but Condon cost us the game yesterday. Why he was given such a comfortable contract is beyond me. I'd try to move him asap since there seems to be a market for backup tenders at the moment. Get his contract outa here and just duct tape the back up position for now with a cheaper guy. |

Same thing happened to the Leafs last year...couldn't win a freaking overtime game.
I look at the top 8 right now, and I think those 8 could stick for the remainder of the season. |

Condon was solid last year and one of the reasons we got into the post season. That being said he seems to play better the more he plays, and this year we dont need him as much. |

Duchene - Brassard - Stone
Hoffman - Pageau - Ryan
Pyatt - Thompson - Didomenico
Burrows - Paul - ?
This is if you go power on power. Playing Duchene with Stone is a good try IMO
OR

It's not Duchene's fault - the whole team is just not clicking. What happened to our top 10 offense? They better turn this slide around fast or we can forget about even making the playoffs, never mind a repeat of last year's run. Losing to the Pens was ok, Arizona unlucky, but three in a row is just unacceptable. |

I am surprised you feel that way. He had a terrible game, for sure, but he was very good for you guys last year and I still think he is a more than acceptable back up. |

Messing with team chemistry mid-season is a risky business... especially given the extent to which many of the current players needed an adjustment period in order to play effectively within Boucher's system. Unfortunately, Duchene's adjustment period could negatively affect the likes of Hoffman and Ryan in the short-term, which I think is part of why the team has struggled recently. As many have noted, it's not like Duchene has looked bad - but hopefully some obvious chemistry starts to form on his line, regardless of his linemates.
Then again, at the end of the day we're talking about a 2-2-1 stretch (i.e. 5Pts in 5GP), which included 2 games in Sweden, a weird scheduling lag, and then back-to-back games. The real test will be the upcoming couple of weeks... games against WSH, CBJ, NYI, MTL, NYI are all Eastern Conference points on the table that they can't just keep bleeding out. |

Don't blame Condon end result. He made the right play, just missed the puck. 99 times out of 100 he makes that play.
The whole team is out of sinc. Too many giveaways and bad passes. |
